RESEC Cymru Annual Conference 2010 - 29 January, Bangor

Ladies and Gentlemen, it certainly is a great pleasure to be invited to speak today at the second RESEC Cymru annual conference.

When I was the Shadow Health Minister, I had the privilege to be involved with some of the discussion forums organised by RESEC Cymru and was certainly impressed with the broad range of people and organisations involved in helping to deliver RESEC’s objectives – from the public, private and independent sectors, underpinned by strong involvement from academics from a number of Welsh universities – as well as the ideas that were being generated from those talks.

It is unique because of the complete financial incompetence this Labour Government has presided over the last 12 years.

It is a real pleasure to be here in Llandudno today; I think this is my third/fourth trip in as many months. It really is a special part of world. Why? Because it's turning blue!
