Jonathan Morgan's Objection Letter to the Re-organisation of Primary Education Provision in Whitchurch |
|
|
|
|
Chief Schools’ Officer
Cardiff County Council
County Hall
Atlantic Wharf
Cardiff CF10 4UW
16th July 2010
Dear Mr Jones,
Introduction
This represents my formal response as the Assembly Member for Cardiff North in objection to the proposals by Cardiff Council to re-organise primary education provision in Whitchurch.
Whitchurch benefits from having strong, popular and successful schools. I am aware that all local schools have strong local support from the community and from families whose children have benefited from the education provided in the primary sector. I do have a number of concerns about the proposed changes and would challenge the assumptions upon which these proposals are based.
